The Double Layer Glazed Tile Roll Forming Machine is a highly efficient, space-saving, fully automated cold-roll forming system that innovatively integrates production lines for glazed tiles and trapezoidal tiles into a single unit. The upper layer produces aesthetically pleasing antique-style glazed tiles, while the lower layer produces structurally robust trapezoidal tiles. Suitable for decorative roofing-such as villas, traditional-style architecture, and cultural tourism projects-as well as structural buildings like industrial plants and warehouses, this single machine addresses both types of needs, making it an ideal choice for clients with limited production space.

Product Advantages
Customization Services
Customized Tooling
Tooling for both the upper and lower layers can be customized based on customer-provided drawings or samples. The upper layer can produce antique-style glazed tiles with various styles, curvatures, and profiles, while the lower layer can produce trapezoidal tiles with varying rib heights, pitches, and effective widths. The two sets of tooling are designed and manufactured independently, ensuring no interference between them.
Material Compatibility
Roller gaps and forming stages for both layers are adjusted according to the customer's preferred materials
(e.g., color-coated steel, galvanized steel, or aluminum-magnesium-manganese alloy) and thicknesses (ranging from 0.4mm to 0.8mm), ensuring stable forming across different materials.
Punching Functionality
Punching units can be installed on either or both layers to create pre-drilled mounting holes at tile overlap points or other designated locations. Punching positions and spacing along the length of the tile can be customized to accommodate various installation methods.
Automated Configuration
Integrates with hydraulic uncoilers, leveling units, and automatic material collection/palletizing systems. The upper and lower layers can share a single uncoiling and collection system (requiring a switch between production runs) or be equipped with independent units (enabling simultaneous, continuous production).
Control System
Features a touchscreen interface available in both Chinese and English; parameters for the upper and lower layers are stored independently and can be recalled separately. Future upgrades include remote monitoring, production statistics, and Wi-Fi connectivity for debugging.
Equipment Color & Packaging
Equipment can be painted according to specific customer color codes. Export packaging consists of iron pallets, stretch wrap, and fumigation-free wooden crates; custom packaging options are available upon request.
Quality Control
Raw Material Inspection
Incoming steel and purchased components undergo batch sampling (minimum 10% sampling rate). Material certificates are verified against actual specifications, and critical dimensions are measured against engineering drawings. Non-compliant batches are returned in full.
01
Roller Hardness Testing
Surface hardness is tested for every individual roller; a range of HRC 52–56 is required, and a hardness report is issued for each. Rollers failing to meet hardness standards are sent back for reprocessing and are not used in assembly.
02
Assembly Inspection
Benchmarking During assembly, checks are performed on roller concentricity (tolerance ≤ 0.05 mm) and frame parallelism (tolerance ≤ 0.10 mm/m). Measurements are taken after each assembly step and recorded in the assembly inspection log.
03
Trial Production
Trial runs are conducted separately for the upper and lower layers using coils of the appropriate specifications, producing at least 30 meters of finished product per layer. Inspections cover the profile shape, overlap dimensions, and cutting accuracy. Test run videos and finished product inspection reports are generated and archived for each layer.
04
Electrical System Testing
After powering up, PLC input and output points undergo individual simulated testing to verify program logic, emergency stops, safety interlocks, and fault alarm functions, ensuring accurate and error-free I/O response.

FAQ
Q: Is double Layer Glazed Tile Roll Forming Machine truly fully automatic? Do I need to change the molds to switch tile types?
A: Yes, it is fully automatic, controlled by a PLC computer for automatic feeding, forming, and cut-to-length production. No mold change is required when switching between glazed and trapezoidal tiles. Simply select the corresponding upper or lower layer working mode on the touchscreen – it's very convenient.
Q: Our country's voltage is 110V. Can the glazed sheet roll forming machine work with that? Do you offer overseas installation services?
A: Yes, absolutely. To ensure stable operation, we use electrical components from internationally renowned brands. Voltage can be fully customized to your country's standards. Our motors are national standard copper core motors, which are not easily damaged.
Q: Do the upper and lower layers use the same coil width?
A: Typically, the upper and lower layers use the same or similar coil widths to simplify material preparation. However, if there are special requirements, the system can be adapted to accommodate different widths for each layer based on customer needs.
Q: Since the machine produces two types of profiles, do the upper and lower layers interfere with each other?
A: No, they do not. The upper and lower layers feature independent drive and control systems, so their operations do not affect one another. They offer great flexibility, allowing both layers to run simultaneously or just one layer to operate at a time.
Q: Are the production speeds the same for both layers?
A: The speeds for the upper and lower layers can be set independently; generally, we recommend a speed of 10–15 meters per minute for a single layer. If only one layer is running, the speed can be increased accordingly.
